I just got this laptop and am very pleased with everything so far, everything except that when I unplug my laptop from the battery charger the screen goes very dim. I changed the settings so that it is not trying to save the battery, it's on high performance and highest brightness level and still there is a noticeable difference when the laptop is unplugged. My only success was making it the brightest is apparently can be off the battery without having to hit the FN key up. Does anyone know how to change the settings so that the brightness remains the same as when it is plugged in? Thanks.How to change brightness settings on Dell Inspiron 1420 laptop?
follow the steps:
control panel----%26gt;power options-------%26gt;change plan settings---------%26gt;Adjust diplay brightness.
drag the slider to ur right and save the settings. after u save the settings select the save setting as ur defalut power plan.
