I've looked on the settings in Control Panel and everything and I still can't figure it out, but my laptop screen goes dimmer when I put it on charge and brighter when it isn't on charge.
I have XP.
How can I change this to the other way round (Unplugged = Dim, Plugged = Bright)?Dell laptop brightness problem?
use the blue FN button next to the Ctrl button on the lower left hand connor. Hold this in and press the up and down arrows. makes it dimmer (down) and brighter (up) Dell laptop brightness problem?
Its compensating for the battery charge, either that it would take longer to re-charge.
