Is there a way to reduce laptop radiation?

kinda scared of the way it emits radiation even though people say it might not be harmful, but my health certainly seems to be affected by it right now, and i do use the laptop a lot, will there be ways to change the way how the laptop emits radiation? e.i screen brightness, power ghz etc?Is there a way to reduce laptop radiation?
Unless laptop has a CTR screen, which would be unlikely, then you are not really getting any harmful radiation. The light it emits is technically radiation.

If you ever read the instructions to any monitor, then you would know you have to take breaks every 30 mins or so and try to focus on things far away to help minimize eye strain and whatnot.

Here is a good resource on Eye Strain and how to reduce it:

If you are using a word processor a lot and have an earlier version of MS Word or Word Perfect, then you can use the %26quot;Blue background with white text option%26quot; is a lot easier on the eyes than the white background black text. Your document will still print out black and white and stuff with this option on. MS Word 2007 removed this feature. I don't know why, probably because WordPrefect had this feature first.

OpenOffice might have the option, if your looking for something that can work with MS word documents and want this option.

You should also determine what kind of posture you are in when using this laptop.

That article should give you some good keywords to use for further research. Good luck.
