Fn key + F1,2,3 etc keys on laptop, what do all combos do?

Or i should say does it vary from manufacturer to manufacturer, for example



Fn + F7 seems to alternate the display from external(if you have one plugged in) display to laptop display on most laptops (well from what i have read so far).



How about changing the laptop screens brightness is that Fn + F2
